How We Use Information
We use this information to respond to enquiries, manage tenant admission, allocate rooms and beds, maintain rent and payment records, keep emergency contact information, verify documents and provide hostel-related services.
Documents And Images
Uploaded profile images, Aadhaar, PAN, driving license, address proof, payment receipts and expense bills are stored securely on our server. File names may be changed to random names to prevent conflicts and protect original file names.
Payment Information
We store rent amount, due dates, payment status, paid amount, payment mode, transaction reference, payment date and optional receipt images. We do not collect card PINs, UPI PINs or bank passwords.
Sharing Of Information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when required for hostel operations, legal compliance, safety, payment verification, or when requested by lawful authorities.
Data Retention
Tenant records may be retained for operational, accounting, safety and legal purposes. If a tenant is removed from active records, selected details may be archived to preserve hostel history and payment records.
Security
We use access controls and authenticated admin/API access to protect hostel data. No online system is completely risk-free, but we take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
Your Choices
You may contact us to correct inaccurate details, update contact information or request clarification about stored information. Some records may need to be retained for accounting, safety or legal reasons.
